Blackjack Player Leaves Table, Rob Banks, Plays Blackjack Again

Blackjack player Kerry Johnson started an early session of Blackjack at 10am at the Mardi Gras Casino in Nitro, West Virginia. Having played well in to the afternoon, at 4.30pm he got up from his seat and placed a $25 chip on the table to hold his seat, and left the casino for a short while.
Johnson, 52, a resident of Charleston left for the City National Bank in his home town where he handed over a note to the teller saying he had a gun and a bomb, and proceeded to rob the bank.
With his new cash reserve, he returned back to the casino and took his place back at the table of his reserved seat and carried on playing blackjack.

Despite the brazen robbery, in which he barely bothered to even conceal his identity it was a police tip-off that led to his arrest.
When police arrested him at his home they saw his green Mazda Miata used in the robbery on the drive, the clothes he wore, including a West Virginia University hat, a towel he wore around his neck and stuffed between the cushions of his couch, a large sum of money.
Johnson has been charged with felony bank robbery and faces up to 20 years in prison for his crime.
