3.05 Market Rasen: Point The Way looks likely to lead in this small field novice hurdle. He has to concede weight to the two market leaders that are rated higher than him courtesy of his two novice hurdle wins. Megan Carberry takes the ride today taking off 5lb which more than negates the 4lb penalty he has. While it’s hard to gauge how good the others are he does come here following two easy wins in testing ground; he currently trades around 6.60 for a back-to-lay.
3.35 market Rasen: Milly Baloo’s last two races have been here at Market Rasen. After an easy win over today’s distance in late December she returned back here on the 22nd January to finish second to Tarpino when just getting caught on the run-in after trading down to 1.35 in-running from a BSP of 6.25. She races off just a 3lb higher mark and in similar ground should go close again; she currently trades around 5.0 for a back-to-lay.
