In-Running Lays: Back-to-lay Atlantic Sun and Get Knotted

Atlantic Sun

Above: Richard Hannon's Atlantic Sun (light blue and orange) finishes second to Zonderland at Sandown is ridden by 5lb claimer Gary Mahon today.

3.00 York: Atlantic Sun and Get Knotted have both been in decent form lately and should run well here in this competitive handicap at a decent price. Get Knotted has traded below at least half his BSP in his last four runs, including here over course and distance last month where he traded down to 2.0 in-running from a BSP of 10.103; he currently trades around 13.0 for a back-to-lay.

Atlantic Sun had traded below at least half his BSP in all previous six races until last time out in a listed race at Newmarket. He came up against an impressive Lumiere who took command of the race a fair way out and he was unable to make any serious impression. Today he drops back to 7 furlongs which suit him better having looked to struggle late on in his races over further in recent outings. Claimer, Gary Mahon takes 5lb off his back today and in this return to handicap company it will really help his cause. Atlantic Sun currently trades around 11.0 for a back-to-lay; you could look to trade both to make 1.5 points on each and if only one does trade low you can still make a profit.

Over at Ascot in the big race, both Highland Reel and Erupt look to have great chances on the drying ground but at 5.0+ on Betfair; Erupt looks the bet on his win in the Grand Prix De Paris and his close finishes in the Arc and the Japan Cup last year.
