In-Running Lays: Back-to-lay Bonny Kate, Balgarry and Crookstown

Bonny Kate

11.40 Fairyhouse: Bonny Kate is a tough front runner who is in great form having traded below at least half her BSP in her last 8 runs. From the front she’ll keep of any trouble in behind with there being 18 runners in this beginners chase. With the mares allowance in her favour she looks a decent back-to-lay; she currently trades around 8.40 for back-to-lay.

12.45 Newbury: Balgarry has traded below at least half his BSP in 6 of his 7 races and looks to have a great chance of doing so again today. He set off too fast on his seasonal debut 18 days ago and should be better for that run and will probably try to make all here again; he currently trades around 11.50.

2.05 Newcastle: The Henry De Bromhead trained Identity Thief comes over from Ireland for this grade 1 hurdle after a grade 2 win at Down Royal. He has a lot on his plate taking on horses like Wicklow Brave and Irving but races prominently and may way lead in this 7 runner race; he currently trades around 9.20 for a back-to-lay.

2.30 Doncaster: Crookstown has taken a dramatic drop down the weights follow several poor finishes but he still manages to trade low in running. He will be much better for his recent seasonal reappearance where a jumping mistake soon took the wind out of him and was then hampered. Racing off just 118 today he should be competitive and looks worth a back-to-lay around 18.0 on Betfair.
